Cooperation Among Cooperatives - WI Coops Assist in Hurricane Helene Rebuild

On Tuesday, October 2, 45 lineworkers from 15 WI electric cooperatives started their journey to South Carolina to assist electric cooperatives with devastating damage from Hurricane Helene. 

David and Jake from PEC volunteered to be part of this restoration effort. 

Upon arriving to South Carolina, lineworkers were preparing for more of a rebuild, not restoration. Damage is so extensive; in some areas substations, underground lines, and roads are completely washed away.
