Scholarships are funded through unclaimed capital credits and distributed via the Federated Youth Foundation.

Local Seniors
Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to qualified applicants at each of the following schools:
- Butternut
- Chequamegon
- Phillips
- Prentice
- Rib Lake
Applications will be made available at each school and should be submitted to the scholarship coordinator within the submission deadline, respectively. Recipients are selected by the scholarship committee at each school.
At-Large Seniors
Two 1,000 scholarships will be awarded to qualified at-large or non-traditional applicants. To be considered at-large:
- Student is a high school senior
- Student does not attend a local high school (listed above)
- Students' parent/guardian is an active Price Electric member
Recipients are selected by an independent panel.
Other Eligibility Criteria for Seniors
- Applicant's parent/legal guardian must be an active member of Price Electric.
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior.
- Applicant must have a 4 year cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Applicant must plan to continue in post-secondary education.
- Applicant must be accepted into the school in which the scholarship would apply.
- Family income is not a deciding factor in scholarship awards.
- Scholarship must be redeemed within two years of being awarded.
Non-Traditional Students
Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to qualified non-traditional or at-large applicants. To be considered non-traditional, applicant must be age 25 or older, AND meets one of the following:
- Applicant did not continue and/or complete post-secondary education after high school.
- Applicant attends college on a part-time basis.
- Applicant currently works full-time.
- Applicant has children or dependents other than a spouse.

Other Criteria/Information
- Applicant must be an active member, or dependent of an active member, of Price Electric and a reside in the Cooperative's service territory.
- Applicant, or applicants' guardian, must be in good standing with Price Electric.
- Applicant must have maintained a GPA of 2.5 or higher during their current semester of post-secondary education.
- The recipient must be enrolled in a course of study leading to an associate's or bachelor's degree.
- The recipient must be enrolled with a minimum of 5 credits.
- The program must be for a minimum of one school year.
- Price Electric employees, dependents of employees, and directors are not eligible.
- The non-traditional scholarship is a one-time award. The recipient will not be eligible for future awards.
- An independent panel will select recipients.
- Scholarship must be redeemed within two years of being awarded.
