Safety First! Farm Rewiring

Wisconsin electric cooperatives have developed a uniform statewide farm rewiring program called Safety First! The purpose is to assist dairy farmers with the cost of rewiring projects and to promote safety. Dairy includes cows, as well sheep and goats, that are kept for milk production.

Program Information

  • A loan/grant combination is available up to $30,000.
  • Grants are available for 33.3% or up to $10,000 from the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association.
  • Loans are available for up to $20,000 from PEC.
    • Up to 5 years to repay
    • 5% interest
